About Us
Dairy Crest Direct (DCD) was first launched to provide independent representation to dairy farmers over 15 years ago, before achieving Dairy Producer Organisation (DPO) status with the UK government in 2015.
Although DCD is currently the only DPO in the UK, it is model that has been championed by the dairy industry for the future.
Independently financed by its farmer members, DCD has an elected Board and Forum with farmer representatives from across the Davidstow milk field.
“Our aim is to consistently deliver DCD members a competitive milk price and build a better future for our members by working constructively and proactively with our milk buyer.”
Our Strategy to achieve this:
- To represent DCD members, as a whole and as individuals.
- To pursue opportunities to deliver value within the whole supply chain.
- To continue to work with Saputo Dairy UK on mutually beneficial projects.
- Support and co-operate with the wider industry.
